I have worked as a web designer and as a front end web developer and I designed and built this website myself using Photoshop, XTHML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP and a bit of JQuery on the Artwork page. Below are some examples of my recent professional web work.
WordPress Themes
I have built themes for WordPress for Pancentric and Fly53, using XHTML, CSS and basic PHP skills based on designer’s Photoshop designs. Fly53 used WordPress as a CMS system and I had to build the theme to accommodate a number of differently laid out blog sections, including a regular blog, a music blog and a ‘Friends of Fly53’ blog.
Wood BMW, Wood Mini and Wood Direct
I have worked on the Wood Group’s BMW, Mini and Wood Direct websites since 2008. I have maintained the existing BMW and Mini sites and I designed and built and now maintain Wood Direct.
HTML emails
I have experience building HTML emails. The above examples were built from designer’s Photoshop designs and sent using Pancentric’s email marketing software, Enabler. I ensured with all HTML emails that they displayed correctly in all the commonly used email clients.
3D web content for Petplan Equine
I built a large portion of a 3D stables environment for Petplan Equine’s Your Stables website. I used Softimage for modelling and Photoshop for texturing.
RSA Global
I built the front end of RSA Global Insurance, based on a Photoshop design, using XTHML, CSS and JavaScript. I also wrote the ActionScript (AS2) for the Flash timezone animation on the home page.
